Heating Instructions: This ham is fully cooked and may be enjoyed without further cooking.
Do not overheat. Let ham stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 300°F. Remove ham from packaging and place in a roasting pan or glass baking pan, and cover completely with foil. Bake ham for 10 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature reaches 125°F. Remove from oven and let rest until internal temperature registers 135-145°F. Since oven temperatures vary, a meat thermometer is recommended.
For Glaze: After ham reaches 125°F, remove top portion of the foil, apply glaze and increase oven temperature to 375°F for 10-20 minutes until glaze has set and internal temperature is 130°F or above. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
Serving Your Ham: Using a sharp knife, start slicing across the wide (butt) end of the ham. Spiral slicing begins a few inches into the ham. When you reach the spiral slices, remove the portion of the ham you just cut. Then any lengthwise cut will release the slices for serving. Leftover ham can be frozen.
